The Opportunity…

As a Planner Trainer, you will deliver consistent, structured, and engaging training to new and existing Planners to ensure they have the technical knowledge, systems capability, and soft skills needed to deliver an exceptional client‑focused service.

Working closely with the Head of Planner Training and wider stakeholders, you’ll support the design, creation, and delivery of training programmes that reflect regulatory changes, business needs, and our commitment to high‑quality advice.

What You’ll be Doing…

• Delivering product, technical, systems, and soft‑skills training to new and experienced Planners.
• Collaborating with the Head of Planner Training to identify learning needs and create training solutions that address them.
• Designing, maintaining, and updating compliant training materials.
• Keeping up to date with regulatory, policy, and process changes and ensuring training reflects these.
• Leading group training sessions and supporting the development of acquired, recruited, and existing Planners.
• Contributing to measuring the success and ROI of training initiatives.
• Championing our vision, values, and high standards across the organisation.

You…

• Experience within either a Wealth Planner or Paraplanner role.
• Level 4 Diploma qualified.
• Experience working within regulated Training & Competence schemes in Financial Services.
• Strong understanding of the client journey.
• Previous experience delivering technical and soft‑skills training.
• Exposure to Learning & Development methodologies and training design.

• A credible, engaging facilitator able to adapt style to suit different learners.
• Strong coaching skills with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
• Resilience and tenacity to influence in a fast‑paced and complex environment.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to juggle competing demands.
• Confident handling challenging situations with calmness and authority.
• A proactive mindset with strong initiative and sound judgement.
